Guided Tour – Wine Cellar Designs Aventura North Miami, Florida
Jake Duquette, the owner of Wine Cellar International, takes us on a guided tour of one of his recent projects.
This client’s goal was to be able to store somewhere between 800-1,000 bottles of wine in a modern looking but limited space. In designing this wine cellar the back wall was created in a wood finish, horizontal, label forward, clean looking display.
The lower area allows bulk storage, two bottles deep in a diamond bin configuration, creating a huge capacity in a small space. This is a big advantage to wine collectors that like to buy their wine in case lots.
Wine Cellar Designs Aventura North Miami – Top Horizontal Storage Allow Wine to be Stored Three Deep
The top horizontal storage sections allow the wine to be stored up to three deep with the labels clearly visible in the racking.
This means the collector spends less time searching around looking for a specific wine.
To make the display interesting and functional we added a stemware display and serving area.
The counter, as it needed to be functional, was sealed with a stain so we could maintain the overall style of the wine cellar.
